About the role
The Clinical and Applied Virology group, led by Dr Judith Hübschen, is seeking an early stage post-doctoral fellow to contribute to tick-borne pathogens research.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on tick-borne pathogens
- Collaborate with other researchers and laboratory staff
- Write scientific papers and present findings at conferences
Requirements
- PhD in virology, microbiology, or a related field
- Experience with tick-borne pathogens research
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational skills
- Fluency in English
Skills
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques
- Experience with bioinformatics tools
- Knowledge of tick-borne pathogen ecology
