Duties & Responsibilities
- The focus of this position will be to study the role of innate pattern recognition receptors and stress proteins/response in inflammation, cancer immunity and immunotherapy.
Qualifications
- Highly-motivated candidates with a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D in immunology, molecular and cellular biology, or a closely related field are appropriate to apply.
- Applicants should possess strong laboratory, analytical, interpersonal, and independent working skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experience, or a commitment to do so as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at VCU.
- Candidates with previous experience with mouse modeling/handling and flow cytometry are highly desirable.
