About the role

This Postdoctoral Fellow role supports research within the Department of Pediatrics, Infectious Disease Division. The position provides advanced training under a designated Principal Investigator, building professional research skills and independence for a long-term scientific career.

Responsibilities

• Designing, conducting, and evaluating experiments
• Developing new research ideas aligned with laboratory goals
• Preparing manuscripts and contributing to scientific publications
• Collaborating with the PI on research progress and direction
• Training or supervising research staff as needed
• Managing or operating specialized laboratory equipment

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree (PhD, MD, ScD, DVM, DDS, or equivalent) in a relevant field
• Strong scientific writing skills
• Effective oral communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with colleagues
