About the role
The Kummer Institute Center for Resource Sustainability (KICRS) seeks a post-doctoral scholar to support the development of proposals and execution of projects in areas of KICRS interests. The position reports to Dr. Shelley Minteer, the Director of KICRS and the Dr. Ken Robertson Memorial Professor of Chemistry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research projects in electrochemistry
- Aid in coordinating joint research with graduate students and undergraduates
- Write and review publications
- Train graduate and undergraduate students on laboratory instrumentation
- Attend research meetings and outreach events
- Build and maintain a safety culture
- Collaborate effectively as a valued member of the team
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in chemistry or related field
