Post-doc / Research Professor Position Opening

Two positions are available: Research Professor (faculty track) and Post-doctoral Researcher.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field.
• For Research Professor applicants:
  • Minimum 6 SCI papers published between March 1, 2014 and February 28, 2017, with at least 3 as first or corresponding author.
  • Minimum 2 years of research experience post-Ph.D.

Research Focus

All areas of Chemistry and Material Science are welcome, with preference for candidates with an electrochemistry background. Suggested research areas include:

• Energy conversion (solar cells: DSSC, OPV, Perovskite; artificial photosynthesis; photoelectrochemistry; supercapacitors).
• Electrochemistry, including electrochemical (bio)sensors.

Appointment and Contract

• Research Professor: Start date March 1, 2017. Initial 2-year contract with extensions every 2 years.
• Post-doc: Immediate opening. 1–2 year contracts; extensions depend on qualifications.

Pay

• Research Professor: 40,000,000 – 60,000,000 KRW (~36,000 – 55,000 USD) or 30,000,000 – 35,000,000 KRW, depending on qualifications.
• Post-doc: 25,000,000 – 35,000,000 KRW, depending on qualifications.
