About the role

The position is a two-year Post-Doctoral Associate working on a study funded by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating with research collaborators, survey design, execution, and analysis (45%)
  • Scientific manuscript preparation (45%)
  • Attending professional meetings to present results (10%)

Requirements

  • PhD degree in a closely related field to the human dimensions of natural resource management (e.g., recreation, tourism, wildlife management)
  • Demonstrated expertise in social science research, and a strong record of scientific publication

Qualifications

  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies: Demonstrated expertise in social science research, and a strong record of scientific publication.
  • Physical Demands: Office duties, driving.
