About the role
A postdoctoral position is available in the lab of Dr. Storch. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a publication record consistent with career level, and an interest in understanding lipid transport in the intestine, and regulation of energy absorption and metabolism. Experience with transgenic mouse models and/or working with large data sets is desirable. Proficiencies in oral and written English are required.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing research projects focusing on lipid transport and energy metabolism in the intestine. This includes designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and presenting findings at scientific meetings. Collaboration with other lab members and external collaborators is expected.

The position is based in the Storch lab, a vibrant, interdisciplinary research group housed on the Cook campus in New Brunswick, NJ. As a postdoctoral associate, the candidate would have abundant opportunities to interact with members of the Departments of Nutritional Sciences and Food Sciences, and the Institute for Food Nutrition and Health. The campus is also in close proximity to the cultural and scientific offerings of both NYC and Philadelphia.
Pay
Salary will be commensurate with experience and follow NIH and Rutgers guidelines.
Schedule
The position is full-time and permanent.
