Post-Bar Clerk/Associate

Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin PC is an AV-rated, full-service trial and litigation firm seeking full-time Post-Bar Law Clerks for Fall 2026. This role is offered onsite in either our San Diego or El Segundo offices.

About the role

Handle research projects, writing assignments, data analysis, deposition summaries, medical chronologies, and attend depositions, mediations, motion hearings, and/or trials in a variety of practice areas. We offer fantastic opportunities to develop your legal skills in a great atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, including drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and preparing for trial
• Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and other court proceedings
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and/or trials
• Organize and analyze documents and evidence

Requirements

• Successful completion of ABA-accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree
• Completion of the July 2026 California Bar Exam, pending results
• Strong knowledge of legal concepts and procedures
• Excellent research, writing, detail-orientation, and organizational skills
• 3.0 Minimum GPA

Pay

Post-Bar Clerk: $45.67/hour

Potential growth into Associate role after passing the Bar Exam: starting salary of $105,000 on 12/1/2026, with a raise to $110,000 on 3/1/2027. Bonus opportunities available.
