About the role

This position involves building long-running agents that use the Genesis mission platform as a testing ground for the ARIA API specification. Tests will represent problems in cancer treatment facing our collaborators at the University of Chicago. This position includes an opportunity for a Joint Appointment at the University of Chicago.

Requirements

• Recently completed Bachelor’s degree in computational biology or related discipline
• Ability to formulate solutions independently
• Experience presenting own results at regular meetings
• Willingness to present published articles at regular journal club meetings
• Demonstrated ability to prepare reports and manuscripts
• Knowledge of modern software development practices and techniques
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to model Argonne’s Core Values: Impact, Safety, Respect, Integrity, and Teamwork

Pay

The expected hiring range for this position is $58,656.00–$92,273.00.
