Position: Cybersecurity Engineer

Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation and revision of IA policy and guidance documents.
• Provide critical written and verbal analysis of systems documentation and vulnerability reports and risk assessments.
• Offer C&A support, including interpreting STIGs evaluation for DIACAP and RMF.
• Review vulnerability assessments, system security plans, and COOP artifacts for compliance.
• Contribute to ad-hoc requests and provide weekly and monthly project status reports.

Requirements

• 4+ years of direct experience with cyber security requirements (IA Controls).
• 4+ years of experience working within DoD Services or Agencies.
• 4+ years of experience resolving security findings discovered on network devices and operating systems.
• 4+ years of experience reviewing C&A packages for CA/DAA and making risk-based recommendations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education/Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
