About the role
We are currently looking for a freelance Brazilian Portuguese Teacher for one of our clients in Port Washington, NY, United States.
Responsibilities
- Deliver customized one-to-one general language training sessions
- Conduct lessons at the client's home in Oyster Bay
- Teach beginner-level Brazilian Portuguese to a student aged 35–44
- Provide instruction once per week on Thursdays and Fridays between 10 am and 3 pm
Ideal Candidate
- Native Brazilian Portuguese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
- Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
- Hold a valid work permit/visa
- Live within 20 miles of the specified location
Conditions
- Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability
- Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
- Freelance position, with part-time hours
- We are not able to sponsor visas
