About the Role

Drive strategic lending and build high-impact relationships as a Portfolio Relationship Manager. You’ll take ownership of a growing portfolio and play a critical role in shaping the success of high-profile data center transactions. In this role, you’ll work directly with top-tier sponsors, financial institutions, and internal teams to drive deal execution, underwriting, and portfolio growth. You’ll also lead a team of talented portfolio managers, mentoring and shaping the next generation of financial professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Group Leader to source, structure, and execute new lending opportunities with sponsors and financial institutions.
  • Lead the underwriting and credit approval process, ensuring transactions align with strategic goals and risk framework.
  • Oversee existing and new transactions, handling loan modifications, compliance tracking, legal documentation, and financial analysis.
  • Act as the central point of contact for borrowers, sponsors, legal advisors, risk teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless lending experience.
  • Manage a team of portfolio managers, providing mentorship, training, and oversight to drive operational excellence and career growth.
  • Navigate complex deals by leveraging deep industry knowledge in credit structuring, due diligence, and market trends in the data center financing space.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in credit underwriting, financial analysis, and portfolio management.
  • 2+ years of strong industry knowledge in data centers, infrastructure, or commercial lending.
  • 2+ years of expertise in financial modeling, risk assessment, and loan structuring.
  • 2+ years of proven ability to manage client relationships and negotiate deal terms.
  • 4+ years of advanced skills in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Access).
  • 2+ years of formal credit training (preferred), though strong analytical and structuring skills are key.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related discipline, or equivalent related experience.

Pay

$118,860.00 - $203,760.00 per year.
