About the role
This role is part of the Project and Portfolio Management organization and reports to the Director of Project and Portfolio Management. The Lead Project Manager will deliver multiple strategic efforts across various departments.
Responsibilities
- Use a hands-on, proactive approach to ensure value is delivered, with full responsibility for all aspects of a project, including managing milestones, identifying and tracking issues and risks, and driving the team to meet project goals.
- Create visibility into project activities and milestones while balancing the desire to follow an agile and iterative software development process.
- Partner with other digital delivery groups to align ongoing efforts.
- Contribute to the team by participating in solution definition and removing roadblocks.
- Attain full knowledge of the functional area and help project teams focus on achieving desired business outcomes.
- Surface challenges that require cross-team coordination or leadership intervention before they impact scope, cost, or timeline.
- Establish a good cadence for communicating outside the team, including conducting effective meetings by managing the agenda, running the meeting, and tracking follow-ups.
- Establish strong relationships with IT and business stakeholders.
- Help the team identify development opportunities and challenge them to improve performance.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and vendor teams; coordinate vendor selection and contracting.
- Ensure alignment of project objectives with the overall IT strategy and roadmap.
- Implement project or framework-specific governance.

- Bachelor’s degree.
Pay
$75 - $80 per hour
