Portfolio Operations & Program Lead
What You’ll Do
- Portfolio Management & Governance
- Establish and maintain portfolio governance frameworks to support strategic business objectives.
- Develop portfolio reporting standards, dashboards, and executive-level communications.
- Monitor portfolio health, resource allocation, priorities, dependencies, and risks.
- Facilitate portfolio review meetings and governance forums with senior leadership.
- Ensure initiatives remain aligned with organizational priorities and business goals.
- Program Leadership
- Lead large-scale, cross-functional programs and transformation initiatives from planning through execution.
- Define program structures, workstreams, milestones, and success metrics.
- Cook up coordination efforts across multiple stakeholders, departments, and leadership teams.
- Drive accountability for deliverables, timelines, and outcomes.
- Proactively identify and mitigate program risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Executive Reporting & Communication
- Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and portfolio summaries.
- Deliver meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Communicate program status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Facilitate alignment across leadership teams and key business functions.
- Strategic Execution
- Partner with executive leadership to operationalize strategic priorities.
- Translate high-level objectives into actionable programs and measurable outcomes.
- Support organizational change initiatives and drive adoption across teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
What You Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Operations, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in program management, portfolio management, PMO leadership, operations, consulting, or related discipline.
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of portfolio management methodologies, governance frameworks, and operational best practices.
- Experience developing executive dashboards, reporting frameworks, and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated success managing risks, dependencies, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience influencing senior leaders and driving organizational alignment.
- The ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional experience with enterprise AI tools, analytics dashboards, or large-scale internal technology platforms.
- Experience building or scaling PMO functions.
- Experience supporting strategic planning and business transformation initiatives.
- Experience within professional services, consulting, technology, or construction-related industries.
- PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar certifications.
