About The Role

As a CBRE Portfolio Management Analyst, you will assist Portfolio Managers with managing small to medium accounts and fund portfolios. This job is part of the Portfolio Management job function. You are responsible for managing portfolios comprised of different classes of assets.

What You’ll Do

  • Aid in executing due diligence of transactions and monitoring and forecasting investments.
  • Provide excellent customer service and problem resolution for clients, sponsors, and internal partners.
  • Interpret deal documents, including joint venture agreements, and monitor compliance.
  • Conduct research and financial evaluations of commercial real estate properties and portfolios.
  • Aid in data compilation for client decisions.
  • Create preliminary screens of investment opportunities to generate financial models, marketing materials, and investment memos.
  • Maintain regular meetings with management to provide fund research notes and update fund models.
  • Create client investment plans and maintain target portfolio spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate with managers to collect questionnaire data and input it correctly into the system.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Intermediate math skills, including the ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
