You’ll work closely with experienced wealth advisors, gaining broad exposure to complex portfolios and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist wealth advisors in evaluating and reviewing client portfolios, including analysis of asset allocation, risk exposures, and alignment with client goals.
- Execute portfolio implementation activities, including rebalancing, reinvestment of proceeds, loss harvesting, cash management, and trade execution.
- Prepare and present clear, insightful client materials, including portfolio reviews, performance reports, and investment recommendations.
- Develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations to support client meetings, reviews, and prospect presentations.
- Support wealth advisors with client prospecting and new business activities through analytical support, proposal creation, and presentation preparation.
- Apply the firm’s public markets and alternatives investing philosophies in day-to-day portfolio decisions and recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely implementation of investment strategies and client instructions.
Key Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in portfolio management, investment analysis, or a closely related wealth management role.
- Demonstrated experience working with and supporting wealth advisors on client portfolio reviews and implementation.
- Strong proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and portfolio analytics.
- Prowess in creating professional, client-ready PowerPoint presentations and supporting materials.
- Strong communication skills, with experience presenting complex investment concepts to internal and external audiences.
- Solid understanding of public markets investing and the ability to apply a defined investment philosophy in practice.
- Good working knowledge of alternative investments and how they fit within diversified client portfolios.
- Solid understanding of financial planning concepts and best practices in a wealth management context.
Desirable Skills
- CFA charterholder or active candidate, or other advanced investment-related credentials.
- Experience in a high-touch, advisor-led wealth management or RIA environment.
- Exposure to tax-aware portfolio management, including tax-loss harvesting strategies.
- Experience with portfolio management or CRM systems commonly used in wealth management.
- Comfort supporting business development efforts, including proposals, pitch books, and prospect analysis.
