About the role

This role assists the Portfolio Management team in providing integrated investment advice and portfolio management services. Key responsibilities include coordinating the internal delivery of investment services, seeking new business opportunities from existing books of business, and supporting other service associates. You will serve as an additional point of contact for clients and/or as a backup for client-facing Portfolio Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Supports aspects of the client portfolio including asset allocation, portfolio construction, security/manager selection, trade execution, risk management and compliance, and investment reviews
  • Assists with engaging clients to review investment performance and anticipated market changes based on economic and industry analysis
  • Performs market analysis, gathers insights, and recommends strategies to support client's investment goals
  • Supports Portfolio Managers with conducting portfolio composition analysis, asset allocation monitoring, and ensuring investment policy statement quality and completeness
  • Manages and/or executes client investment transactions, leveraging expertise in portfolio management
  • Coordinates with client teams and partners to deliver an integrated service to the client, identifying and resolving issues effectively and timely

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with a financial institution focusing on high net worth client service and sales
  • Investment administration experience desired
  • BS/BA degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Law desired
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent (minimum education requirement)
