Portfolio Management, Analyst

Responsibilities
- Lead the quarterly reporting process for an assigned subset of properties.
- Contribute to the preparation and distribution of fund reporting processes and deliverables.
- Provide portfolio-level support and analysis to assigned portfolios.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the asset management team covering the assigned portfolio.
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and reports as requested by asset managers and investors.
- Mentor and train Portfolio Management Interns.
- Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Transactions
- Handle requests for documents, reports, and other due diligence list items as requested.
- Perform hold and sell analyses, including the preparation of underwriting models.
- Help prepare Investment Committee memorandums.
- Prepare waterfalls on active dispositions and refinances.
- Participate in the disposition and refinance processes as requested, managing key transactional processes and timelines.
Operations and Systems
- Generate reports and analysis using the RealPage platform and Yardi, as applicable.
- Serve as a RealPage administrator and key liaison between the RealPage support team and the company.
- Support the Construction Management team, including tracking and forecasting of capital projects and unit renovations.
- Support the annual budgeting process as requested.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, real estate, or a related field.
- Two or more years of experience in business, finance, economics, real estate, or a related field, with real estate experience preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA encouraged.
- Strong Microsoft Excel acumen.
- Ability to make decisions using sound judgment, meet targets, and work under pressure.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and close attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized self-starter with the ability to take direction and follow through.
- Ability to apply best practices to facilitate the successful completion of projects.
- A sense of urgency, comfort with ambiguity, a drive for results, and the ability to remain true to the company's brand and image.
Prior Experience
- Real estate experience preferred.
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit for up to 10 hours per day.
- Ability to move freely around the office for up to 10 hours per day.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $110,000. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
