Portfolio Analyst II

About the role

Axos Bank Target Range: $24.30/Hr. - $30.00/Hr. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Responsibilities

• Support in managing the loan portfolio within the Real Estate Lender Finance Group
• Provide financial statement analysis, covenant tracking, gather essential portfolio data, and maintain credit files
• Maintain monitoring of individual credits through financial statement analysis, covenant tracking, gather essential portfolio data, and maintain credit files
• Write credit memoranda for management to process loan upsizes, credit amendments, and update loan risk ratings
• Lead in implementing process improvements, authoring procedures, and documenting day-to-day responsibilities of Portfolio Analysts
• Understand credit culture and risk tolerance as outlined by senior management and the Board, and help mitigate potential threats against the safety and soundness of the loan portfolio
• Manage multiple workflows and adapt to changing demands to meet business objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• 2+ years' experience in underwriting, structuring, or portfolio management of commercial real estate transactions
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in client relations and process improvement
• Strong business writing ability
• Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating standard office equipment such as computer keyboard and mouse, calculator, telephone, copiers, etc.
