About the role

Manages investment activities for a full set of major fee revenue-producing accounts, representing small to mid-sized personal trusts and individual portfolios typically mid-range in size and complexity within their market. Assists in development and recommendations of strategies designed to achieve investment objectives for specific individual clients. Analyzes and plans the overall investment strategy with continuous revision as goals and objectives change, working closely and proactively with the broader client service team to identify and execute on areas of opportunity.

Develops an influential presence within the local client-facing team, clients, co-trustees, consultants, the bank's legal area, and outside attorneys to ensure communication of client requirements and coordinate portfolio activity. Demonstrates proficiency with new investment strategies, tools, capabilities, portfolio research, and investment methodologies through regular engagement with the National Investment and Goals Driven Wealth Management Practices, peers, and broader Wealth and Asset Management teams.

Accountable for personal adherence to best practices as measured by the PM Dashboard and related reporting, execution of initiatives, new capability rollouts, and required training. Provides continuous feedback on areas for improvement to leadership regarding national initiatives, changes, and expectations. Adheres to National Investment Guidelines, feedback from the REV peer review process, and observes sound risk management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage investment activities for fee revenue-producing accounts, including small to mid-sized personal trusts and individual portfolios.
  • Develop and recommend investment strategies to achieve client-specific objectives.
  • Analyze and plan investment strategies, revising as client goals evolve.
  • Collaborate with client service teams to identify and execute opportunities.
  • Maintain an influential presence with clients, co-trustees, consultants, and legal teams.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in new investment strategies, tools, and methodologies.
  • Adhere to best practices, national investment guidelines, and risk management protocols.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on national initiatives and areas for improvement.
  • Solve complex investment-related problems.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of investment and portfolio management theory, accounting, financial principles, and associated strategies.
  • Understanding of various marketplaces and investment instruments.
  • Decision-making, sales, and negotiating skills to guide sensitive situations.
  • In-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in investment management, with basic knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Minimum 6 to 8 years of investment experience, including research, with a track record of meeting long-term investment objectives.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship (no sponsorship available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT, or other employment-based visas).

Pay

Salary range: $131,675 – $223,905 USD (good faith estimate of base pay).
