Responsibilities
- Assist with quarterly and annual fund reporting processes.
- Support annual audits and preparation of financial reporting deliverables.
- Prepare supporting schedules, reconciliations, and analyses across multiple investment vehicles.
- Maintain reporting databases and monitor portfolio company financial information.
- Participate in recurring portfolio review and reporting processes.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly portfolio valuations.
- Work closely with finance and investment teams to gather and analyze portfolio company information.
- Prepare supporting analyses used in internal reporting and investment review presentations.
- Maintain investment activity records and supporting documentation.
- Support capital call, distribution, and cash management activities.
- Aid in the calculation of management fees and fund expense allocations.
- Analyze fund activity for compliance with governing agreements and internal policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers on ongoing operational matters.
- Assist with preparation of investor reporting packages and fundraising materials.
- Support responses to investor information requests and due diligence inquiries.
- Maintain data and reporting schedules utilized by investor relations and finance teams.
- Participate in projects focused on improving reporting efficiency and data quality.
- Assist with implementation of technology solutions, automation initiatives, and AI-enabled tools across the finance organization.
- Support enhancement of reporting workflows and analytical capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a strong academic record.
- Public accounting, audit, fund accounting, financial reporting, or finance experience preferred.
- Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to alternative investments, venture capital, private equity, or investment management is a plus.
- Experience with reporting and accounting platforms such as Investran, Workiva, or similar systems is beneficial but not required.
