Portfolio Accountant

Growing real estate investment organization seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee financial reporting, portfolio accounting, and performance analysis for a diversified real estate investment portfolio. This individual will partner with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, support strategic initiatives, and drive process improvements.Primary ResponsibilitiesManage accounting activities related to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cyclesAnalyze portfolio and property-level financial results to ensure accuracy and completenessPrepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedulesSupport investment transactions, capital activity, and cash movement processesAssist with audit, tax, and investor reporting requirementsProduce financial and operational reporting for management and external stakeholdersMonitor portfolio performance and provide meaningful financial insightsImprove accounting workflows, controls, and reporting processesParticipate in cross-functional projects and operational initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance1-3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within real estate, investments, or asset managementCPA designation or progress toward certification is highly preferredStrong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standardsAdvanced Excel and financial analysis skillsExcellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilitiesStrong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams
