Porter, Skyland Lodge
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a seasonal Porter to join our team at Skyland Lodge in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. Help with day-to-day operations at the hotel and ensure guests have everything they need during their stay.
Pay
$16.00 - $16.00 / hour

Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with luggage at check-in and check-out, and show them to their room
- Explain room features, such as locks, ventilation systems, and the television, to guests
- Provide guests with local information, recommendations, and directions
- Perform light cleaning duties around the hotel, both inside and out, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and restroom cleaning in both the front and back of the house
- Additional housekeeping duties as assigned
- Drive a company vehicle on a daily basis
- Report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors
Requirements
- No experience or diploma required
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift moderate amounts of weight
