About the Venue

The Cross Insurance Arena, owned by Cumberland County and managed by Oak View Group, opened in 1977 and was renovated in 2012 as a 6,200-seat venue in Portland, Maine. Home to the Maine Mariners (ECHL), the arena hosts top concerts, comedy, family shows, and major sporting events, including state basketball and hockey championships.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, suites, club areas, and restrooms to a high standard.
• Dust, wipe, and disinfect surfaces, including desks, counters, and fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets and mop floors in assigned areas.
• Remove trash and recycling; replace liners and maintain waste stations.
• Restock and organize supplies (paper products, soap, linens, hand sanitizers, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of clubs, corridors, and premium spaces.
• Identify and report maintenance or deep-cleaning needs.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior cleaning or housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
