Porter / Groundskeeper - Apartments

About the role

Porters are essential members of our team, keeping our communities clean, beautiful, and welcoming. Responsibilities

• Picking up trash and cleaning pet waste stations
• Trashing out apartments
• Maintaining cleanliness and appearance of the community
• Light painting and housekeeping tasks
• Supporting maintenance as needed
• Planting, weeding, and maintenance of outdoor spaces
• Operating equipment such as backpack blowers, power washers, and golf carts/trailers

Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Frequently lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds or more
• Using hand tools and operating equipment
• Frequently bending and stooping
• Working outdoors year-round in potentially inclement weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, humidity)
• Ability to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Pay

Hourly rates are competitive, starting at $18/hour, plus quarterly bonuses. Eligible for a $1000 stay-on bonus after 90 days in good standing.
