Porter - Gorge Amphitheater

Responsibilities

• Washes all china, glass, and silverware.
• Cleans all equipment, pots, and pans pre, during, and post-event.
• Stores all equipment in proper locations.
• Sweeps and mops all floors in the kitchen/office areas.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Practices safe work habits, follows all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, completes company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
• Transports food and equipment throughout the venue as needed.
• Maintains cleaning supply stock levels per venue needs.
• Ensures assigned areas are kept clean and orderly.
• Performs and assists with routine inventory on a daily basis of all required stock per area of responsibility.
• Ensures requisitions are delivered in a timely manner.
• Assists with deliveries and stocking storeroom and side stations.
• Assists members in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
• Fulfills assigned opening and closing duties as assigned by the Chef.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, speak, and write English to communicate with staff and guests.
• Ability to work all venue events and maintain a flexible schedule to meet service demand levels, including extended hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in an open-air environment during all climate conditions.
• Punctuality and dependability.
• Maintenance of personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company and venue standards.
• Sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant standing, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette preferred.
• Effective listening and taking direction from management.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
