Porter
Responsibilities
- Works with Clubhouse Manager, Social Events Manager, and Banquet Manager on scheduled banquets, activities, and events.
- Responsible for the room set up and break down of tables, chairs, furniture, and Audio-Visual equipment for banquets, activities, and events (requires lifting up to 50 lbs.).
- Ensures Technical and AV equipment used for scheduled banquets, activities or events is available, set up, and checked prior to start time.
- Opens and closes the building.
- Sets up and breaks down Audio-Visual equipment for scheduled banquets, activities or events.
- Ensures all technical and AV equipment is functioning properly before each event.
- Handles opening and closing of the building, ensuring proper security measures are taken.
- Stores and secures equipment following a banquet, activity, or event.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Physical position requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs.
- Open availability required
Qualifications
- Hospitality, clubhouse, or hotel experience preferred but not necessary
Skills
- Self-starter
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
