Responsibilities

• Ensure the venue is kept clean and orderly, focusing on maintaining the tidiness and organization of the bar areas, restrooms, and other designated areas
• Remove empty cups, bottles, and trash from tables
• Sanitize surfaces around the venue, ensuring cleaning products are well-stocked and readily available
• Assist in trash removal to the designated trash area
• Clean spills or messes that may happen on the floor
• Move supplies or equipment between different areas of the venue, such as carrying heavy items from storage to the kitchen or dining area
• Perform simple repairs and report maintenance issues to manager-on-duty to ensure venue remains in good working order
• Help ensure that health and safety standards are met by regularly checking that the environment is clean and safe for customers and guests

Requirements

• Basic understanding of general safety protocols and sanitation methods
• Strong sense of reliability and dependability
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service
• Effective time management and adaptability skills to handle various tasks as needed, sometimes on short notice
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to interact politely and professionally with customers and staff
