About the Role

Compensation is $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write English correctly and fluently.
• Ability to accurately perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions.
• Valid Driver’s License and insurance recommended.

Skills

• Ability to deal well with people and quickly make them feel comfortable.
• Ability to identify and use janitorial supplies.
• Ability to use general maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment, including but not limited to hand tools, pressure washers, blowers, paint equipment, pool equipment, and ice removal equipment.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, specifically knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to attend seminars/classes in multiple locations.
• Must have the ability to arrive at the site within 30 minutes if not living on site.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain Management Office, models, interior public and common areas of the community in a neat, clean, and attractive condition.
• Maintain all grounds, including sidewalks, public walkways and stairways, building exteriors, garden areas, and dog runs in a neat, clean, and attractive condition.
• Accept and enter Work Order requests from residents.
• Assist in the effort to make vacant apartments rent-ready in a timely manner.
• Compact and remove trash and debris from the community.
• Complete assigned tasks consistent with company operating procedures and in a timely manner.
• Replace light bulbs.
• Snow removal, including but not limited to shoveling, salting/sanding, and clearing of sidewalks, public walkways and stairways, building exterior entrances, parking garages, and any other common areas or areas determined by the Supervisor.
• Deliver notifications to residents.
• Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
• Set up tables and chairs in auditorium or hall.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• All other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
