The role is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure occupants a clean and safe environment. Normal working conditions with the absence of disagreeable elements.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains cleanliness of office and lobby floors, windows, doors and walls.
• Cleans and maintains cleanliness of restrooms; includes floors, sinks, counters, commodes and fixtures.
• Cleans and maintains cleanliness of elevators and stairwells.
• Monitors the interior and exterior of the building and grounds during the day to make certain the grounds and common areas are free of debris.
• Cleans and maintains all convenience centers, including stocking of coffee and cleaning supplies.
• Cleans glass surfaces periodically to keep them free of fingerprints and dirt.
• Empties garbage containers in common areas and restrooms ensuring general areas are free of litter.
• Reports broken or dangerous items to facility staff for repair or replacement.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum 1 year previous facilities maintenance / janitorial experience
