Responsibilities

• Maintain resident rooms including cleaning restrooms, walls, baseboards, doors, ceilings, mirrors, dusting, washing windows, and removing trash
• Move furniture to dry and wet mop floors
• Dust and clean all furniture and fixtures
• Perform terminal cleaning of resident rooms upon transfer, discharge, or death
• Clean and empty trash in soiled utility rooms
• Maintain facility appearance by cleaning stairwells, washing windows in the main lobby, offices, staff and resident lounges
• Clean and polish elevators as needed
• Perform emergency housekeeping where accidents occur
• Restock and maintain a clear stockroom and housekeeping cart
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in long-term care and EVS preferred but not required
