Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure the facility is always audit and inspection-ready.
• Follow up on all work orders.
• Perform general upkeep of the building, including maintaining common areas and landscaping.
• Assist all vendors performing tasks in the building (e.g., exterminators, AC repair companies).
• Maintain a detailed understanding of the property and assist the facility manager with on-site projects.
• Inspect the building and property daily; perform routine preventative maintenance and address safety issues promptly.
• Maintain the outside perimeter of the building, including power washing, removing snow and ice, and keeping sidewalks clean and safe.
• Remove graffiti from the building.
• Maintain accurate records as required by regulation or company operating protocols.
• Care for grounds, ensuring walkways are safe in all weather conditions.
• Clean and maintain resident areas, including lifting, removing, and washing shower curtains twice a week.
• Aid in garbage removal, adhering to NYC sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and extermination as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years demonstrated experience working in building maintenance.
