Responsibilities

• Following company procedure to maintain portable restrooms through inspecting, washing, and repairing.
• Washing out equipment daily.
• Testing equipment in yard.
• Knowing how to water up, dump truck, and fuel up.
• Being required to know how to operate a motor vehicle and be able to haul trailers.
• Having some mechanical knowledge to uncover equipment/maintenance issues to ensure equipment is running properly.
• Reports To Operations Manager.
• Performing pre- and post- washout & maintenance procedures; keeping restroom trailers clean and free of trash and debris.
• Maintaining equipment and following preventative maintenance procedures.
• Communicating with Portables Manager, recording and tracking maintenance procedures.
• Keeping track of inventory.
• Completing work assignments in a safe and efficient manner to avoid damage and accidents whenever possible.
• Communicating professionally with drivers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must not have any DUI’s or OVI’s within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
• Must not have any license suspensions within the last 2 years.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment physical testing.
• Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs signals, and safety training.
• Mechanical background preferred.

Physical Demands / Environmental Factors

• Enter and exit commercial vehicle regularly throughout the day.
• Comfortability working outside.
• Flexible in shift changes as season progresses.
• Exposure to extreme weather conditions.
• Exposure to high traffic conditions in yard.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to stand and walk.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
