Portable Equipment (PEMS) Technician

What You’ll Do

• Partner with nursing teams to establish par levels and meet requirements for portable medical devices.
• Inspect and clean all devices in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Execute daily rounds to monitor and meet the specialized equipment needs of patients.
• Maintain equipment logs as required.
• Manage specialized inventory activities, such as portable medical device (PMD) compliance, using Sodexo’s proprietary CMMS software.
• Prepare documentation on transported equipment, inventory updates, operator performance checks, or validated service vendor PMD compliance.
• Attend work and show up for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.

What You Bring

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Experience working in hospital inpatient areas, cleaning, and transporting of equipment.
