This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of dealership vehicles and facilities, ensuring a positive impression for customers and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Wash vehicle exteriors, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down doorjambs.
- Vacuum interiors to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Clean engines and engine compartments using steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
- Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
- Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when handling products that require protection.
- Fill vehicles with fuel and apply dressing on tires and tire wells.
- Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times.
- Keep work area neat and clean, including the service drive, customer lounge, and coffee area.
- Use buffers to detail vehicles and report any safety issues immediately to management.
- Empty garbage into designated areas and maintain the appearance of the entire lot.
- Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Park vehicles in accordance with policy and under direction to ensure an attractive lot for potential buyers.
- Assist Sales and Service Staff in moving vehicles to ensure efficient dealership operations.
- Add and maintain key tags and window stickers on all lot vehicles.
- Drive vehicles to other dealerships for 'dealer swaps' or to other vendors as requested.
- Pick up or deliver customers as requested using dealership vehicles.
- Complete additional tasks as directed by management.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Professional personal appearance and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to meet company’s production and quality standards.
- Basic technology skills (e.g., email, Microsoft Office, mobile devices).
Physical Requirements
- Spend time outdoors in various weather conditions and indoors in air-conditioned areas.
- Regularly sit, stand, and walk.
- Infrequently bend, twist, stoop, kneel, squat, reach overhead, or climb stairs.
- Lift 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive hand/finger movements.
- Infrequently grasp/grab with hands and push/pull objects.
General Expectations
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing their needs and following through on assigned projects.

Pay
The expected pay for this position is $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, with potential for additional compensation such as bonuses or commissions based on role and performance.
