About the Role
We're partnering with leading AI research teams to build smarter, more accurate health-focused AI systems — and we need your expertise to make it happen. As a Population Health Informaticist, you'll apply your knowledge of large-scale health data to evaluate, refine, and improve how AI understands population health trends, disparities, and outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Analyze and evaluate population-level health data to identify trends, disparities, and opportunities for intervention
- Assess AI-generated health insights and outputs for accuracy, clinical relevance, and real-world applicability
- Review and provide structured feedback on data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting frameworks used in population health contexts
- Translate complex health data concepts into clear, actionable guidance that improves AI model quality
- Help ensure AI systems reflect the nuances of public health surveillance, equity, and decision-making
Who You Are
- Experienced working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets
- Strong analytical thinker with solid data visualization and reporting skills
- Able to communicate complex data insights clearly to diverse stakeholders
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment
- Passionate about using data to drive better health outcomes
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation frameworks
- Background in epidemiology, biostatistics, health informatics, or a related field
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning workflows in a health context
