Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool and spa maintenance including skimming, brushing, vacuuming, filter cleaning, and basket maintenance.
- Test, balance, and adjust pool water chemistry safely and accurately.
- Complete seasonal pool openings, closings, and post-renovation startups.
- Inspect and troubleshoot pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, valves, and timers.
- Perform minor equipment repairs, including seals, O-rings, baskets, and valve adjustments.
- Identify equipment concerns and communicate larger repair needs to the Service Manager.
- Maintain accurate service reports, water chemistry readings, photographs, and customer notes in our CRM.
- Provide professional, courteous customer service while educating homeowners on their pool systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and follow all company safety and chemical handling procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of pool service experience or equivalent knowledge and skills.
- Ability to independently manage a daily service route.
- Strong understanding of pool water chemistry and equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot common pool equipment issues.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Valid Maryland driver's license.
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include Certified Pool & Spa Operator (CPO) certification or willingness to obtain within your first year.
- Pentair University training.
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- CPR & First Aid Certification.
- NPC Startup Certification.
