Pool Server - Seasonal

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform basic bartender skills- follow recipes for a limited variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Aid guests with selecting food and beverages by suggesting items, explaining the chefs specialties, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and answering food preparation questions.
• Efficiently receive guest orders paying attention to special requests or needs (i.e. allergies) and input them into POS system.
• Retrieve guest orders from the kitchen and deliver to pool guests.
• Engage with guests to ensure they are satisfied with food and overall service.
• Must be able to cross-train in other F&B related areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-2 year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and hospitality experience.
• Luxury hotel/fine dining experience is a plus.
• FORBES standards is a plus.
• High volume, fast-paced restaurant/bar experience preferred.
• Aloha experience is a plus.
• Food Handlers card is required.
• Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) Certification is required.
• Proficient in English- verbal and written.
• Must have flexible work availability- all shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Pay

$21.87 + tips
