Responsibilities
- Performs laboratory analyses in an accurate, timely, courteous, and effective manner to support comprehensive patient care.
- In certain entities (BOS), Lab Techs will be required to support the TEAM CARE Model to ensure patient workflow efficiencies are met and patient satisfaction goals are achieved.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Medical Technology or related science or equivalent education as required by the State of Florida. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or Temporary Clinical Laboratory License in appropriate discipline(s).
- Complete knowledge of laboratory medical technology theory and practice.
- BLS certification required for BOS Urgent Care locations only.
Pay
Estimated pay range for this position is $39.50 per hour depending on shift.
