Student hourly positions at the Marketing Behavioral Lab support research studies by checking participants in and out, monitoring sessions, and performing other related duties. Employees are expected to uphold the School of Business Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

  • 40% Checking study participants in and out of the behavioral lab
  • 40% Monitoring research studies
  • 20% Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours during the semester of employment
  • For summer employment, must meet one of the following:
    • Enrolled in no fewer than 6 hours in the past spring semester
    • Pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no fewer than 6 hours
    • Enrolled in summer session
    • Admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester
  • Undergraduate or graduate students may apply (exceptions for GRA/GTA/GA appointments do not apply)
  • Not eligible for remote work unless an exception is approved by unit leadership and HR
  • Cannot hold this hourly/non-exempt position concurrently with a salaried/exempt graduate or undergraduate position (GRA/GTA/GA/RUA/RGA)

Pay

$10.25 hourly

Anticipated start date: Monday, August 17, 2026
