About the role
Hospitalist physicians are needed for per diem nights and swing shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to hospitalized patients under the supervision of attending physicians.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity.
- Manage patient care plans and coordinate with primary care providers as needed.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or related field.
- Current medical license in good standing.
- Experience in hospital medicine preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR).
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
