POOL-BUS DRIVER

About the role

The POOL-BUS DRIVER position is available at the Central Area Transportation in the Brevard County School Board's Human Resources Services.

Responsibilities

• Operate school buses safely and efficiently to transport students to and from school.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during transportation.
• Load and unload students and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members.
• Maintain bus cleanliness and ensure all necessary maintenance is performed.

Requirements

• Valid Florida Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• At least two years of experience driving school buses or similar vehicles.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Knowledge of safe driving practices.
• Ability to handle stress and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills.
