About the role
We are seeking a Residential Pool Security Officer to join our team for the spring and summer to provide safety and policy enforcement at residential pool locations. This is a non-lifeguard position focused on observing, reporting, and maintaining a secure environment for residents and their guests. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Observe and monitor the pool area to ensure compliance with posted rules and regulations
- Enforce pool policies in a professional and courteous manner
- Report any safety hazards, incidents, or suspicious activity to management or emergency personnel as necessary
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter inappropriate behavior or unauthorized access
- Ensure that pool areas and surrounding areas remain secure and free of hazards
- Log daily activity reports and communicate any issues to the appropriate contacts
- Remain alert and attentive at all times during scheduled shifts
- Follow all MFort procedures and site-specific guidelines
- This is not a lifeguard position – officers are not permitted to enter the pool, perform rescues, or maintain pool equipment
- Officers must remain professional, composed, and customer-service oriented at all times
Requirements
- Previous security/concierge or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to stand and remain outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions
- Must have a valid Illinois PERC card and 20-hour security training certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to report to assigned residential sites on time
- Must be able to pass a background check
- High school Diploma/GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Schedule
Shifts available: Thursday - Saturday 11AM - 8PM (27 hours)
Pay
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
