Pool Attendant - Part Time

Job Duties

• Tests and balances pool chemicals.
• Documents as required by state and local regulations (Essential)
• Maintains pool temperature as directed (Essential)
• Cleans and vacuums pool, cleans skimmer baskets, backwashes pool filters, and skims the pool with skimmer as needed (Essential)
• Maintains pool capacity and ensures posted rules are adhered to (Essential)
• Maintains safety equipment and checks first aid kit daily (Essential)
• Cleans and maintains pool bathroom daily (Essential)
• Sweeps the pool deck and surrounding areas daily (Essential)
• Straightsens pool furniture regularly (Essential)
• Removes weeds in commons areas as needed (Essential)
• Performs other duties as assigned (Essential)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
• Some High School Education (Required)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to endure seasonal temperatures
• Flexibility to respond to community needs during non-business hours
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Good verbal communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and internet
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Required Certifications/Licensures: Certified Pool Operator (COP), where required by state law
