Responsibilities
- Assisting the Lifestyle Director in leading activities, games, crafts, and special events throughout the community
- Serving as reservation clerk for onsite amenities including kayaks, non-motorized watercraft, paddleboards, and toys
- Facilitating the distribution of equipment and games
- Organizing setup of pool chairs, loungers, and umbrellas
- Tactfully enforcing association policies and procedures while providing the highest level of customer care
- Doing laundry, folding pool towels, and ensuring a clean and inviting environment for guests
- Preparing sites for upcoming reservations
- Setting up and hosting weekly special activities
- Resolving customer service concerns in a professional and positive manner
Requirements
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service with experience in the aquatics, recreation, or hospitality industry
- Energy, a great attitude, and strong work ethic
- Effective communication skills
- Flexibility to work after-hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to attend meetings and community events as scheduled
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
If driving is, or becomes, a requirement of the role, it is required that you hold a valid state driver’s license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits. You must notify Human Resources immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing. CCMC may periodically review motor vehicle reports to ensure compliance with these requirements.
Physical Requirements
- Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions
- Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds
- Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events
- Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices
- Driving: Ability to operate a vehicle to perform certain job functions
