About the role
The Maine Sleep Institute, part of MaineHealth, is seeking a Polysomnography Technologist I (MMCP) to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Work with a team of certified sleep physicians, respiratory therapists, and fellow polysomnographers to diagnose and treat sleep and waking disorders in infants, children, and adults.
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders through polysomnography, diagnostic, and therapeutic services or patient care and education.
Requirements
- Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within six months of hire.
- Eligible for RPSGT exam under one of the pathways outlined by the BRPT.
- Must pass RPSGT exam within 12 months of start date.
- Completion of the A-Step Self-Study modules and/or a STAR Focused Program within six months of start date required.
Qualifications
- Completion of college level course work in physical and biological sciences or in the basic principles of polysomnography course work preferred.

Pay
- $15,000.00 Sign on Bonus for new hires.
Schedule
- Full Time (36 hours), Night Shift.
