About the role
Work with a dynamic team of certified sleep physicians, respiratory therapists, and fellow polisomnographers to diagnose and treat sleep and waking disorders.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders through polysomnography, diagnostic, and therapeutic services or patient care and education.
- Must hold current certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), or Sleep Disorders Specialist (RRT-SDS or CRT-SDS) by the appropriate board.
- Must have current BLS certification.
- Three years of experience in Respiratory Care, with extensive experience in CPAP/BIPAP application preferred.
- Two years of sleep study experience preferred.
Requirements
- Graduate of AMA-approved School of Respiratory Care, electroencephalogram diagnostics or polysomnography CAAHP approved program preferred.
- Completion of college level basic principles of polysomnography course preferred.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), or Sleep Disorders Specialist (RRT-SDS or CRT-SDS) by the appropriate board.
- Current BLS certification.
- Three years of experience in Respiratory Care, with extensive experience in CPAP/BIPAP application preferred.
