Responsibilities
- Independently perform all aspects of diagnostic testing and record scoring of data to ensure a high degree of quality services.
- Assist less experienced technologists with tasks as needed or as requested by the Polysomnography Coordinator, Director of Neurology Services, or Medical Director.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Some college coursework in basic science of sleep medicine preferred.
- Work Experience: 2 years of experience in Polysomnography, EEG, or Respiratory Therapy. Other health-related experience may qualify.
- Licenses and Certifications: BRPT - Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (required upon hire). Registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).
