About the role
Performs comprehensive sleep studies, including calibration, electrode placement, and data collection following AASM standards. Monitors patients during overnight tests such as CPAP/BiPAP titrations, split-night studies, and MSLT, responding to sleep events and emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Score sleep data and generate detailed reports
- Educate patients on sleep disorders and therapy
- Maintain sleep equipment and ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
- Document procedures accurately in the EMR
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- RPSGT credential
- BLS certification within 3 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited polysomnography program
- Previous sleep study experience
