About the role

Performs comprehensive sleep studies, including calibration, electrode placement, and data collection following AASM standards. Monitors patients during overnight tests such as CPAP/BiPAP titrations, split-night studies, and MSLT, responding to sleep events and emergencies.

Responsibilities

  • Score sleep data and generate detailed reports
  • Educate patients on sleep disorders and therapy
  • Maintain sleep equipment and ensure proper functioning
  • Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
  • Document procedures accurately in the EMR

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • RPSGT credential
  • BLS certification within 3 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited polysomnography program
  • Previous sleep study experience
