The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview A sleep technologist works under the general supervision of the Medical Director and the Administrative Director of Pulmonary & Sleep services to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. A sleep technologist is credentialed in sleep technology and can provide oversight of other sleep center staff. Qualifications Required: Current New Jersey State License as a Polysomnographic Technologist and/or Respiratory TherapistAt least one year experience as a sleep technologist. Preferred Qualification to obtain, or possession of the CCSH (Certification in Clinical Sleep Health) preferred. Certifications And Licenses Required Be registered by the ABSM, BRPT, or NBRC (Certification by the ABSM, BRPT, or NBRC does NOT satisfy this qualification.)Maintain current CPR or BLS certification.
